High Voltage Transmission Line Hub

Practical engineering knowledge, tools and workflows

HVTL Hub is an independent, non-commercial engineering portal created to share practical transmission line design experience, workflows, tools, and ideas.

The experience behind this portal includes:

  • Transmission line design from 33 kV to 750 kV;
  • Use of high-temperature conductors (HTLS) for capacity uprating;
  • Development of software tools for foundation and conductor calculations;
  • Development of a 220 kV standard lattice tower series;
  • Design experience in dense urban areas and remote regions;
  • Projects in mountainous terrain, permafrost areas, and environmentally sensitive locations;
  • PLS-CADD workflows, QA/QC checklists, automation, and data analysis tools.

This website is not intended as a commercial platform. Its purpose is to build a community of engineers interested in sharing knowledge, improving workflows, and developing practical engineering tools.

All original content, checklists, calculators, workflows, and software tools published on this website are personal developments created specifically for this platform. External information is referenced through direct attribution and links where appropriate.
